Blood mummy appears as an A-rank monster of the [[Undead family]] as part of the original ''Dragon Quest IX'' event, appearing alongside [[Corvus]] on his banner. It can participate in [[Lleviathan]]'s Battle Road as a party member. As of the latest update in the Japanese version, it can be scouted from any banner, including the Regular SP Scout.
