Luceus appears in Dragon Quest Heroes II as a recurring character that can be played as in co-op dungeons, but is unable to be used in the regular story mode. His moveset is mostly unchanged from the previous game, however [[Zoom]] was replaced with [[Bounce]] due to the former being repurposed for Wild Zone travesal. Additionally he is unable to equip any weapons or shields, being locked to the Captain's sword & Luceus's shield, though he can still equip Orbs and accessories. Having save data from the previous title grants Luceus' costume for [[Lazarel|the game's male protagonist]].
