Magic Burst deals 1.5 times the caster's remaining MP as non-elemental damage to all enemies. It is learned by a [[Sage]] at level 78. It can only be used if the caster has more than 1 MP and can be cast even if the caster is affected by [[Fizzle]]. As is the case with the previous installment, its damage has been reduced due to [[Tension]]. Metal monsters are the only enemies in the game that have any resistance to it.

On the enemy side, it can be cast by [[Gem slime]], [[Corvus]] in his second form, [[Greygnarl]] when faced as a grotto boss, and by [[Mortamor]], [[Nokturnus]], and [[Rhapthorne]] once they have reached Lv. 57. Any bosses that cast Magic Burst will use [[Evil Prayer]] on their following turn to fully restore their MP. The damage range is different for each monster, with legacy bosses having a unique calculation based on their level: ''(6*lvl*(0.9~1.0))''.
