Boulder Toss is a recurring ability in the DQSeries. It throws a huge rock large enough to squash all enemies at once. ==Appearances== ===DQ3HD=== In the 2024 remake, Boulder Toss is learned by Monster Wrangler at level 27 if their wisdom exceeds 62 points. Boulder Toss deals 80~120 Strike damage to all enemies for 14 MP. Each rock has a 1/4th chance to miss the target that is further affected by a monster's evasion rate. ===DQ4=== Appearing in the remakes, Boulder Toss is one of Chow Mein's special attacks, dealing 90~130 damage. Because no equipment in IV resists the Strike element this attack will hurt. ===DQ6=== Boulder Toss is learned by advancing to rank 7 of the Gladiator Vocation and will deal 90~130 Strike damage to all enemies. It is used by the boss Belleau. ===DQ7=== Learned in the same manner as the previous installment and shares the damage parameters. In the Version, Boulder Toss is learned at the first rank of the Champion vocation and is slightly nerfed, flattening foes for 80~120. It is used by the enemies mad moai, mega moai, utter nutters, and the Earth Spirit. ===DQ8=== Boulder Toss is a fisticuffs technique that both the Hero 8 and Yangus can learn. It requires 82 skill points by the Hero, and 100 skill points by Yangus. The skill is weaker than normal in this game, dealing only 72~104 damage, but can be boosted with Tension. *In the 3DS version, Boulder Toss is also used by Juggerwroth in battle. His version of the skill is much stronger and does 95~130 damage to the whole party. ===DQ9=== This ability is learned with 77 skill points invested into the Fisticuffs skill. Boulder Toss uses the new Earth-element and has been much improved in this game, dealing damage dependent on the user's strength and deftness for a maximum range of 290~320. ===DQM=== Called RockThrow in this game, it requires the monster to be at least level 16, with at least 124 HP, and 102 strength. It is learned naturally by Baramos, metaldrak, rockslime and spikerous. ===DQM2=== The requirements to learn RockThrow are unchanged. It is naturally learned by the darkhorn, gigadraco, golem, hornbeet, kingsquid, ogre and snakebat. It is no longer learned by the metaldrak or rockslime. ===DQMJ=== Boulder Toss can be learned with 43 in the Cluboon II skill. It costs 32 MP and has a base range of 110~134, capping at a maximum range of 287~349. ===DQMJ2=== Boulder Toss can still be learned from Cluboon II. It can also be learned from: * Bjorn (50 points) * Bombardier (85 points) * Dual duellers (46 points) * Ruin (72 points) * Wildcard (44 points) ===DQM3D=== Stub ===DQM23D=== Stub ===DQMJ3=== Stub ===DQM3=== Boulder Toss costs 36 MP and deals Level + 120 Earth damage to all enemies. It is learned through the Baramos, Dhoulmagus, Paragon, Rhapthorne, Rockin’ Roller, and Walking Disaster talents. ===DQH2=== Boulder Toss appears as Carver's Coup de Grâce when he is in High Tension mode. He grabs on to the ground underneath him and lifts out an enormous slab of stone. He then throws it into the air and smashes it airborne onto the enemies in front of him. ===DQStars=== Stub ===DQR=== Boulder Toss appears as a skill card. ==Related skills== *Boulder Dash *Boulder Fling *Stone's Throw ==Battle Visuals== <center> </center> ==Gallery== <center><gallery> DQR Ganseki Otoshi.png|Rivals card </gallery></center> clear DQSkills
