==Etymology==
*A Brownie is a diminutive type of faerie originating from the British Isles. It is a house faerie, performing simple chores at night for the family of the home it inhabits in exchange for small offerings of food. Brownies are notoriously proud and sensitive, and will abandon a home if they are ever directly thanked for their work.
