In the English remakes of the game the text states that C-c-cold Breath is used, but the attack is actually [[Freezing Blizzard]].  It can be used by [[Zoma]], [[baramonster]]s, [[metal chimaera]]s, and [[Xenlon]], and deals 100~139 ice damage to the entire {{Party 3}}.

In the 2024 remake, C-c-cold Breath is learned by [[Monster Wrangler]]s at level 44 if their wisdom exceeds 103 points. The chilling sigh costs 22 {{MP}} and deals 120~140 Ice damage to all foes.

C-c-cold Breath makes its debut as an attack used by [[Psaro the Manslayer]]'s final form, dealing 100~140 Ice damage to the entire {{Party 4}}. In the original {{NES}} version of {{Dragon Warrior IV}}, the in-game text states that {{Psaro B}} "emits a gleaming, icy gust of wind".
*During {{DQ4 Chapter 6}} in remake versions of the game, there are two variations of the breath and it can also be used by {{Foo Yung}} and the [[Aamon|final boss]] in his last form. The version used by the final boss is much stronger, dealing '''210~230''' damage to the entire party. When the [[Psaro the Manslayer]] and final boss use the breath, it is emitted from both of their mouths. However, starting with the [[Nintendo DS]] version, {{Psaro B}} and Foo Yung use the animation and text for [[Freezing Blizzard]] instead.

Other characters can obtain this technique by mastering the {{Dragon V}} {{vocation}}. On the enemy side, it is used exclusively by [[Nokturnus]], dealing 210~230 Ice damage to the entire {{Party 6}}.

The {{Legacy Boss}} range is calculated as ''(90+(lvl*lvl/22))'', meaning the base damage is 180~220, and the Level 99 maximum is 481~589.
