It is an undead foot soldier serving in the Demon Lord's armies. ==Characterstics== Chasmomauts are skeletal warriors with yellowing bones that are clad in red and pink armor who carry a longsword and shield into battle. The shield bears the symbol of the Children of Hargon on it. They have a chance to drop the shields they carry, which will curse any adventurer with the misfortune to equip them. After a nearly 30 year absence in the series, the skeletons made their reappearance in Dragon Quest XI. ==Appearances== ===DQ2=== ===DQ11=== {{DQ11Enemy |name=Chasmonaut |kanji=銈广偒銉儕銈ゃ儓 |romanji=Sukaru naito |bestiaryNumber=#197 |family=Undead |description=Knights who, having wished never to die, were brought back by diabolical forces.
