It hits the first enemy again after going through all the others. ==Appearances== ==={{DQ8}}=== [[Hero (Dragon Quest VIII)|The Hero]] can use Crosscutter Throw as a Strike-element boomerang technique after investing 6 skill points into the associated skill. It costs him 2 MP to use and is affected by his tension. The first strike against the starting enemy is at 80% of the Hero's normal attack power, and second blow to the first enemy is based on the total number of enemies present, scaling higher the more monsters there are by a factor of 10% per enemy. For example, if there are four enemies on screen and the first monster is hit for 100 damage then the follow up strike will smack it for 40 damage. *[[Morrie]] can also learn Crosscutter Throw in the 3DS port. ==={{DQ9}}=== This ability is learned with 3 skill points invested into [[List of boomerang skills in Dragon Quest IX|Boomerang skill]] and costs 2 Mp to use. Damage calculation is the same as the previous game, but it no longer has any element associated with it and purely works off of normal attack and defence stats. ==={{DQH2}}=== [[Maribel Mayde|Maribel]] joins the party already knowing Crosscutter Throw.
