[[Patty]] comes equipped with a deadly nightblade when she joins the party. The dagger can be upgraded in to the [[falcon knife earrings]] when combined with one pair of [[slime earrings]] and three [[agility ring]]s, and can also be turned into an [[assassin's dagger]] when mixed with one [[poison needle]] and two bolts of [[evencloth]].

The deadly nightblade has an {{Attack}} bonus of +17, a {{Style}} bonus of +3, and increases the wielder's weight by 2. It can be equipped by [[Mage]]s, [[Minstrel]]s, [[Thief|Thieves]], [[Dancer]]s, [[Gadabout]]s, [[Demon Swordsman|Demon Swordsmen]], and [[Pirate]]s. It can be crafted with weaponsmithing.
