She is an evil spirit created by Mordegon that resides in the town of Phnom Nonh and is capable of trapping unsuspecting victims in an alternate dimension in order to make herself more beautiful. ==Appearance and Personality== When she first appears, Dora-in-Grey disguises herself as a red-haired little girl named Dora who tricks people in Phnom Nonh into visiting her cursed mural with promises of riches. In her true form, she has the appearance of a beautiful ball-jointed doll with porcelain skin, evil red eyes, long flowing green hair, and wears a purple gown with magenta frills and gold lining. Around her neck, Dora-in-Grey wears a necklace with the Magic Key, which she utilizes to enthrall her enemies and seal away their abilities. She also wears a golden tiara decorated with blue jewels. On the lower half of her body, she has a large green birdcage with thorns in the place of legs. Most of her lower body cannot be seen due to her immense size. ==Appearances== ===DQ11=== After defeating Dora-in-Grey, the party will receive the Magic Key as a reward. ===Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D=== Dora-in-Grey appears as a S-rank monster of the ??? family exclusively in the SP version of the game, which was released to smart phones in 2018. ===Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key=== Dora-in-Grey appears once again as the same rank and family exclusive to the SP version of the game, which was released to smart phones in 2018.. ===DQM3=== {{DQM3Enemy |name=Dora-in-Grey |kanji=γ‘γ«γγ’ |romanji=Merutoa |icon= |family=undead |hp=1,250 |mp=510 |attack=610 |defense=640 |wisdom=710 |agility=410 |bestiary=#490 |rank=B |in-game-description=This malevolent mannequin considers herself the living embodiment of art and beauty. The story centers around an amoral young man named Dorian Grey who sells his soul in order to remain young and beautiful, while a portrait of him painted by a friend grows old instead. Dora-in-Grey's French name, Chiaravaggia, is a reference to the late 16th century Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, known mononymously as Caravaggio. He was a controversial artist known for his intense and realistic paintings, as well as for his dramatic usage of lighting which went on to influence Baroque painting. ==Gallery==
<gallery> DQMSL Dora in Grey.jpg|Appearance in Monsters: Super Light DQT Dora in Grey.png|Tact official art DQT Halloween Meltoa.jpg|Halloween Dora-in-Grey in Tact DQT Halloween Dora Drackles.jpg|Halloween Dora-in-Grey and Drackles </gallery>
clear DQXINav fr:Chiaravaggia
