Dragon dung can be found in pots, barrels, and treasure chests in [[Arcadia]], the [[Desert (Dragon Quest VIII)|Desert]], the [[Dragon Graveyard]], the [[Godbird's Eyrie]], and the [[Altar of Wroth]] in the Nintendo 3DS version. In the postgame, dragon dung can be purchased from the [[Dragovian Sanctuary]] for 100 gold and it can be sold for 50 gold. It can be dropped by [[Hacksaurus]]es, [[Freeze fly|Freeze flies]], [[Beelzebuzz]]es, [[Dragurn]]s, and [[Bobonga]]s. The dung can be used to make two different types of cheese in the [[Alchemy Pot]]:
