The '''Electric needler''' is a recurring {{MFamilies}} in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{Dragon Quest XI}}.

It is a powerful variant of the [[Needler]] with an affinity for lightning.

==Characteristics==
Electric needlers are tiny {{Humanoid}} creatures with light purple skin and yellow-colored fluff balls on their bodies. They wear white grass skirts with white shoes and a leather mask with eyes shaped like buttons. On top of their heads, they have a pair of fluff balls poking out of their masks and fluff on their face in the shape of a beard. Despite their diminutive appearances, these [[needler]]s are a force to be reckoned with compared to their weaker counterparts. They use their sharp golden needles they carry as makeshift lances or as lightning rods to call down thunderbolts. The electric needlers are carry around bombs with them which they hurl with glee at their opponents and are capable of healing their allies with the special medicine they have stashed away.
