This weapon is made by [[Sword tempering in Dragon Quest Swords|tempering]] the [[Steel Broadsword]] with 6 [[List of tempering materials in Dragon Quest Swords|Monsterbone]], 2 Iron Ore, and 1 Ice Crystal.  After this sword is tempered into the [[Wrath of Boreas]], it becomes available to buy normally in the weapon shop for 1822g.  This sword also teaches the hero the [[Master Stroke|Cold Fission Master Stroke]]. It can be tempered directly into a [[Blizzard Blade]].
