Gold ore can be picked up from sparkly spots in the [[Gallopolis Region]], the [[Laguna di Gondolia]], [[the Emerald Coast]], the [[Zwaardsrust Region]], the [[Caverns under Octagonia]], [[Insula Incognita]], [[the Eerie Eyrie]], [[the Hekswood]], and the Dragon's Lair in the [[Heliodor Sewers]]. It can also be dropped by [[Golden globe]]s, as well as [[Gyldenaut]]s and [[Gold golem (recurring)|Gold golem]]s, along with their vicious counterparts. Chunks of gold ore can be found in treasure chests in [[Hotto]] and [[the Cryptic Crypt]]. In the postgame, it can be purchased from the shop at the [[Havens Above]] for 400 gold. It can be sold for 100 gold.
