The '''golden gloom''' is a dull yellow pallet swap of the [[cumaulus]] {{MFamilies}} that original appeared in the {{Game Boy Color}} port of {{Dragon Quest III}}.

It was added into {{DQ10}} with the version 3.2 update, along with {{DQStars}} and ''Monster Parade'', making it one of the few {{MFamilies}}s to see subsequent appearances beyond the portable version of {{III}}.
