'''Grimmer Reaper''' is a recurring [[scythe]] skill in the {{DQSeries}}. When it first appeared, it was an enhanced version of the [[Grim Reaper]] skill that has a chance to instantly kill a group of enemies and deals enhanced damage to [[Undead family|Undead]] monsters. In ''X'', it infuses the wielder's scythe in darkness and attempts to knock down a group of enemies with a sweep.

Grimmer Reaper can be learned by [[Yangus]] by investing 90 points into the Scythes skill, automatically replacing Grim Reaper and continuing to cost 3 MP to use. It has the same chance to instantly kill one group of enemies as Grim Reaper and now deals 100% of his normal attack damage that decreases after the second enemy to the group, as well as dealing 125% damage to monsters of the [[Undead family]].

Grimmer Reaper can be learned by [[Death Master]]s, [[Luminary (vocation)|Luminaries]], and [[Demon Swordsman|Demon Swordsmen]] by allocating 13 points into the Scythe skill. It costs 2 MP to use and inflicts dark-elemental damage dependent on the user's {{Attack}} and {{Magical Might}} to all enemies in a fan-shaped area of effect in front of them, as well as having a chance to make them stumble and fall.
