The '''Gripevine''' is a high ranking monster class that in  ''[[Dragon Quest VII]]''.

==Description==
The [[Gripevine]] is a gigantic floral man-eating monster partially resembling a ''Rafflesia'' flower. This class has slight drops in resilience and Max HP but slight to sharp boosts in all other categories.

Any character who masters the class will gain a weak resistance to [[sizz]], rock/strike skills, and [[Jolly Rager]] and [[Maelstrom]]. They will also benefit from a strong resistance  to [[woosh]], status ailments aside from sap and drain magic, and an immunity to [[crack]].

==Requirements==
In order to become a Gripevine, a character must first master both the [[Well wisher (Vocation)|Well wisher]] and the [[Kingfuchsia (Vocation)|Kingfuchsia]] classes. A Heart can also be obtained in battle by fighting the thorn bushes in battle in the [[Emberdale]] region in the present.
