Introduced in {{Dragon Quest VI}}, it is a monstrous [[Bug family|bug]] with a sickeningly-sized stinger.

==Characteristics==
Hell hornets appear as giant [[Bug family|wasp/hornet]]-like creatures with large, stinger-bearing abdomens, a pair of scythe-like arms, and eight wings. They have green eyes with tiny pupils and are primarily burgundy and yellow in color.

Speedy {{MFamilies}}s, hell hornets often appear in groups and make deadly use of their stingers to paralyze victims in combat. While they aren't typically durable, they can still inflict a good deal of injury before being disposed of.
