The user burps up a breath of intense heat at enemies, dealing around 30~40 fire damage. Its strength is roughly the equivalent of [[Flame Breath]].

Hot Gas is an enemy-only skill that can be used by [[Chicken poxer]]s, [[Dragon rider]]s, [[Hot dog]]s, [[Red dragon (Biped)|Red dragon]]s, [[Spitfire]]s, [[Rashaverak]], and [[Psaro the Manslayer]] in his fourth, fifth, and sixth forms. It is also used by [[Marquis de Léon]] in his first battle against in him in {{DQ4 Chapter 4}} in which the player is forced to lose against him.
*In remake versions of the game, {{Psaro B}} no longer burps out hot gas in his sixth form.

Hot Gas returns as an enemy-only skill in Version 5.3 of the game with the addition of the [[Dragon rider]], along with Rashaverak. It is much more powerful this time around.
