Insomniac reduces the chance of being put to sleep by 10%, stacking with the possessor's innate resistance if any, whether it be through the [[Snooze]] family of spells or as the bonus effect of another ability. In the latter case the accuracy of the enemy's attack itself isn't affected by this trait, only the  chance.  can only be obtained by equipping the [[alarming amulet]] or [[rousing ring]], dropped by [[dark sabrecat]]s and [[sculptrice]]s respectively. It is also an innate trait of the [[rational ring]]+, which is randomly available through [[Monty]]'s tinkering shop in [[Rosehill]].

Insomniac stacks with the effects of [[Ultra Insomniac]] for a 60% chance to avoid being conked out, but is nullified by the [[Ultra Crafty Sleeper]] and [[Crafty Devil]] traits.
