The '''Isolated Plateau''', also known as the Godbird Isle, is a region in {{DQ8}} that cannot be accessed normally by [[ship]], as it is surrounded by steep cliffs.

In order to reach it, the party must acquire the [[Illuminated sea chart]] from the [[Pirate's Cove]]. Both the village of [[Empycchu]] and the [[Godbird's Eyrie]] are located there. It is also possible to reach the [[World of Darkness]] from here.

The nest of the bird, [[Empyrea]], located in the southern part of the plateau. It is only accessible using the [[Godbird's soulstone]].
