==Characteristics==
Killer waves are anthropomorphic waves made of dark purplish-blue water with a grim visage. They attack by calling forth waves of rushing water against seafaring adventurers. According to their description in ''Monsters: Joker 3'', they appear near the mouths of estuaries in an attempt to drown anglers. Its English name refers to [[Wikipedia:Rogue wave|rogue waves]], also known as killer waves, which are large and unpredictable waves that are dangerous to ships and structures such as lighthouses.
