The kingsblade is in a [[treasure chest]] in an underground chamber below [[Estard]] castle, accessible from a hidden entrance behind the set of stairs leading to the upper floors. Players can approach the {{chest}}, but it is blocked off by cell bars and requires the [[Ultimate Key]] to open, which means the sword cannot be obtained until the final fragment of the past has been restored and the {{Hero 7}} is beckoned to the [[Cathedral of Light]].

The sword increases the bearer's {{Attack}} by +120 and {{Style}} by +55, and can be equipped by the {{Hero 7}} and [[Aishe]]. Due to the protagonist already having access to several high-tier swords, the kingsblade is better left to the Roamer. Interestingly, cheating devices that grant players access to every weapon early on reveal that [[Kiefer]] can equip the sword as well--though this is impossible under normal conditions, it is an interesting point that reinforces [[Aishe]]'s connection to [[Estard]].
