==Characteristics==
A simple frock made from tanned hides suitable for female adventurers. There have been two designs for the leather dress in the series.
*The original design from ''Dragon Quest IV'' is a simple minidress made from brown leather, with blue cloth at the collar. In official art, it is worn with a belt around the waist, leather gloves, and a pair of leather boots. This design was brought back for the ''HD-2D Remake'' games.
*The design from ''Dragon Quest VII'' is a frock made from light brown leather, with darker brown leather at the bust. This design has been used for most games going forward.
