It cures a single party member of the effects of [[paralysis]] and restores a moderate amount of {{HP}}, being consumed upon use. In games where [[Alchemy]] is a mechanic, it is created by combining three [[moonwort bulb]]s together. It is also often used as a material for crafting lunar-themed items.

Moon's mercy can restore 110~120 HP to a single character and cures the effects of paralysis. In addition to being made in the [[Alchemy Pot]], it can also be dropped [[cureslime]]s, [[spitnik]]s, and [[hell hopper]]s. In the original Sony PlayStation 2 version, moon's mercy can be sold for 308 [[gold]] each for the first five sold, reducing to 216 gold each for the sixth through tenth, then dropping even further to only 93 gold each from the eleventh sold onward.

Lunaria once again restores around 90 HP to a single party member, as well as curing the effects of paralysis. For the first time in the series, it can be purchased for 180 [[gold]] each from various item shops and roving emporiums around the world starting from [[the Hotto Steppe]] during the second act and most shops in the postgame. It can be sold for 90 gold. Lunaria can be picked up from a singular sparkly spot at [[Yggdrasil|the World Tree]]. Some phials can be found at [[Sniflheim Castle]] and [[Mount Pang Lai]].
