==Characteristics==
[[Magic armour]] made to protect the upper body, with a breastplate, pauldrons, and elbow pads made from dark purple metal with gold details. It is worn over a long-sleeved padded tunic. In ''Dragon Quest X Offline'' and various mobile games, it is worn with a pair of gauntlets, as well.

The Magic armour top has a {{Defence}} bonus of +27, a {{Style}} bonus of +14, a {{Magical Might}} and {{Magical Mending}} bonus of +12, and increases the wearer's Weight by 25. The armour reduces damage taken from attack spells by 5%. It has an equipment level of 35 and can be equipped by a [[Warrior]], [[Priest]], [[Thief]], [[Minstrel]], [[Paladin]], [[Armamentalist]], [[Dancer]], [[Demon Swordsman]], [[Pirate]], [[Guardian (vocation)|Guardian]], or [[Hermit]].

The entire set consists of the top and bottom, the magic circlet, magic gauntlets, and magic greaves. If all five pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a +25 bonus to Style and a +4 bonus to both Magical Might and Magical Mending. It can be crafted by an armour blacksmith. Starting with Version 6.2, the amount of materials required to make it were reduced, making it easier to craft. Previously, it required five lumps of Silver ore, two urns of Royal soil, three [[Faerie flame|Faerie flames]], and a Not-colossal fossil.

The armour can be equipped by the {{Hero 10}} as a [[Warrior]], [[Priest]], [[Thief]], [[Minstrel]], [[Paladin]], [[Ranger]], or [[Dancer]], [[Mjoll]], [[Hussar]], [[Raguas]], [[Duston]], and [[Anlucia]]. It can be purchased for 4,800 from armour shops or crafted with the [[Fun-Size Forge]].

The Magic Armour (Top) is 4★ armour that can be equipped by the [[Luminary Leader]] as a [[Hero (vocation)|Hero]] or [[Warrior]], and all versions of [[Dai (A Hero's Bonds)|Dai]], [[Avan (A Hero's Bonds)|Avan]], [[Hyunckel (A Hero's Bonds)|Hyunckel]], [[Crocodine]], [[Baran (A Hero's Bonds)|Baran]], [[Larhart]], and [[Nova]]. At level 35, it has a Physical Defence bonus of +155, a Magical Defence bonus of +160, and increases resistance to all elements by 1. The armour comes equipped with Armour (Top) Trait I Lv. 3, which lowers the target's Fire Resistance temporarily by 20% when a skill with a stock of 2 or higher hits.
