'''Malevolynx''' is the corrupted form of [[Leonyx]] and the final boss in {{DQMJ2}}.

Unlike Leonyx, he has glowing red eyes and a silver mane. His twin swords are also different.

Malevolynx is the corrupted form of Leonyx created by the island's original human inhabitants, centuries prior to the events of the game. When Malevolynx began to threaten their survival, he was sealed away deep in the Necropolis. Later, it is revealed this corruption was orchestrated by [[Rigor Mortex]], an evil being created by a man named Zehlam. Zehlam created Rigor Mortex to become more powerful than Leonyx, but was ultimately betrayed by his own creation. When the player defeats Malevolynx as the final boss of the main story, he merges with Countess, a [[teeny sanguini]] owned by one of the game's side characters and who was secretly carrying Leonyx's soul, and transforms back into Leonyx.

Malevolynx is not obtainable by the player in the original version of Joker 2.
