He is the one responsible for defiling the records of the Altar of Reverie. He fights alongside Psaroid and the Nimclops in the second level of the Hall of Remembrance. ==Characteristics== Mortamammoth's appearance differs greatly depending on the version of the game. In the 3DS version, he is a Naumannborg. In the Switch version, he is a Bilhaw. Nevertheless, Mortamammoth has the power and abilities of Mortamor's two transformations, and seeks to destroy history. clear ==Appearances== ===DQ11=== {{DQ11Enemy |name=Mortamammoth |kanji= |romanji= |bestiaryNumber=721 |family=??? family |description= A beast imbued with the powers of a potent evil that once tried to take control of people's dreams. The elephant-looking version that appears in the 3DS version of DQXI is named ナウマンムーア (Naumanmūa) in Japanese, which is a portmanteau of the Japanese names for the enemies Naumannborg (ナウマンボーグ Naumanbōgu) and Mortamor (デスタムーア Desutamūa). The one from the Switch version is named セルゲイムーア (Sergeimūa) in Japanese, a portmanteau of the Japanese names for Bilhaw (セルゲイナス Sergeinasu) and Mortamor (デスタムーア Desutamūa). The English name "Mortamammoth" is a combination of the name "Mortamor" and the English word "Mammoth". This name presumably describes both of the above monsters, but it is also possible this was a localization error, as the word "Mammoth" is arguably more appropriate for a monster resembling an elephant than a monster resembling a Bilhaw - yet the latter is the only one that actually appears in an English language version of DQXI, as the elephant version is exclusive to the 3DS version, which never received a release outside of Japan. ==See also== *Lord Dragon *Wyrmalroth *Zomaiden *Psaroid *Nimclops *Orgodelotl *Hoopthorne *Hunkorvus *Nelgelas DQXINav
