'''Multislash''' is a recurring skill in the {{DQSeries}}. It delivers a flurry of slashing attacks to a group of enemies. It is the successor to the retired [[Multislice]] skill.

Multislash is an enemy-only skill that can be used by [[AU-1000]], [[Alarmour]], [[Harmour]], [[Prime slime]]s, [[Goresby-Purrvis]], and [[Excalipurr]]. It delivers four random slashes at the party for 50% damage per hit.

Called RainSlash in the [[Eidos]] localization, the skill deals 80%, 60% and 40% damage from left to right and it requires the {{MFamilies}} to reach level 15 with 92 {{HP}}, 90 {{Attack}} and 96 {{Agility}} in order to learn it. It is naturally learned by the [[Armoured scorpion|Armorpion]], [[Sintaur|Centasaur]], [[Estark|Esterk]], [[Ogre]], [[Killing machine|Roboster]], [[Skullrider|SkulRider]], [[Cyber slime|SlimeBorg]], [[Carnivine|Snapper]], [[Crested loon|StubBird]] and [[Stabosaur|Swordgon]]. It can also be learned by {{MFamilies}}s with [[BiAttack]] and [[Mercurial Thrust|SquallHit]].

The requirements to learn RainSlash are unchanged nor are the damage modifiers. It is naturally learned by the [[Axe shark|AxeShark]], [[Beast knight|BeastNite]], [[CancerMan (DQM2)|CancerMan]], [[Notso macho|Dumbira]], [[Fish rider|FishRider]], [[King squid|KingSquid]] and [[Serpentia]]. It is no longer naturally learned by the [[Ogre]].

Multislash costs 5 MP to cast. The user attacks all enemies from left to right with the first attack at full power, the second at 80%, and subsequent attacks at 60%. It can be learned from:

Multislash can be learned by [[Metal slime knight]] at level 20 and [[Gargoyle]] at level 36. It costs 25 MP to use and inflicts 60% potency physical damage four times to random enemies in a range of three horizontal squares in front of the user. It can also be taught to any unit by using a Multislash Scroll, which is received as a reward for completing the seventh stage of [[Sintaur]]'s Battle Road during the second part of the limited ''Mindini's Invincible in the World of Dreams!?'' event.
