In the ''Dragon Quest III'' remakes, narcissist is a personality that improves agility growth, but reduces every other attribute growth.

At the start of the game, the hero becomes a narcissist by receiving the final test of character in the cave. The hero must ignore the first sign.

Other party members have a chance to be a narcissist when talent scouted at [[Patty's Party Planning Place]], with the exception of martial artists, depending on their stat bonuses.
