The '''Necropolis''' is an underground labyrinth found in {{DQMJ2}}. It is the ninth area accessed in the game.

==Description==
The Necropolis is filled with stout monsters roaming a subterranean landscape that twists and turns back on itself repeatedly. The monsters encountered here (including [[Liquid metal slime|liquid metal slimes]]) are tougher and higher-ranked than the monsters in almost all other places before, providing plenty of experience. The only other section harder than this is the [[Dark World (Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2)|Dark World]], unlocked after beating Leonyx.
