The '''Night fox''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{DQ8}}. It is a cunning canidae dressed as French musketeer.

==Characteristics==
Night foxes are anthropomorphic [[Beast family|fox]] fencers with bright blue fur who are nocturnal by nature. They wear doublets with yellow stripes with ruffs and long capes around their necks, rounded hose, tall boots, and cavalier hats with a long plume on their heads, giving them a foppish appearance. The foxes have some simple spellcasting ability, being able to cast Heal, and can use their fancy footwork to confuse their enemies. They are also capable of delivering thrusts with their rapiers at lightning speed.
