The '''Nightcrawler''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{Dragon Quest VII}}. It is an enormous, spike-covered centipede monster with a fearsome visage.

==Characteristics==
Large orange creepy [[Bug family|caterpillar]]s that a covered in a thick layer of threatening purple barbs. Despite their frightful face and fangs, they much prefer to fling themselves at foes spike side first, and won't hesitate to flee from battle whenever they encounter a strong foe.
