Absent from the {{PlayStation 4}} and [[Nintendo 3DS]] versions of the game, Nose for Treasure appears in {{Dragon Quest XI S}} as one of [[Erik]]'s capabilities. He already knows it upon joining the {{Party 11}}.

Nose For Treasure can be accessed from the Quick Commands menu as well as from [[Erik]]'s spell list, making it quick and easy to sniff out treasure. Note that although it will remain in the Quick Commands menu for the rest of the game after [[Erik]] joins the party, Nose For Treasure will fail to work if selected when [[Erik]] is incapable of doing it (for example, when he is temporarily taken hostage in [[Gondolia]]).
