Oomph is a support spell in the DQSeries introduced in. It is a sister spell to Oomphle. ==Localisation History== In DQ11, the other related spell named γγ€γ·γͺγ³ Baishion in Japanese was renamed to Oomph, and this spell was named Oomphle instead; to better show the relation of those spells with this one being the higher-tier one. (Which was different from Baishions first appearance in DQMJ) However, in DQ7R, while this spell functions effectively as the higher-tier one, it is nonetheless named back as Oomph. While, γγ€γ·γͺγ³ Baishion - which functions as the lower-tier one - is named Oomphle instead. Also, in recent releases where only this spell appears like DQ3HD, it is just named Oomph regardless. ==Appearances== ===DQ3=== Oomph can be learned by Mages and Sages at level 21 and costs 6 MP. On the enemy side, it can be cast by Abracadabrers, Terror trolls, and IronNites. ===DQ4=== Oomph is learned by Borya at level 19 and is already known by Psaro 9 at upon joining the Party 4. It can also be used by Togres exclusively in the remakes. ===DQ5=== Beginning with the PS2 version, Oomph only increases damage by 80%. {| cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" border="1" !style="background:#77479B; color: white;"|Name !style="background:#77479B; color: white;"|Level |- |Warhog R||10 |- |Bianca||13 |- |Nera||13 |- |Debora||15 |- |Madchen||16 |- |Grudgerigar R||20 |- |Revaulting horse R||20 |- |Beastmaster R||28 |- |Dwight||45 |- |Pip fighter R||55 |} ===DQ6=== Oomph is obtained by advancing to either Rank 2 of the Armamentalist vocation or rank 3 of the Sage vocation. On the enemy side, it can be cast by Notso machos, Mucho machos, Dark sea-divas, and Dullahans, as well as Tortured Soul in Memoriam and Dancing Flame in Memoriam in the 3DS version. It is naturally learned by the Grakos, MultiEyes, Orligon and Petiteel. ===DQMJ=== Oomph increases the Attack of a single monster by two stages.
