It deals 600% damage, using the Strike-element for the first time in the series, to enemies that are asleep or confused, and it costs 11 {{MP}}. ==={{DQ9}}=== Persecutter deals an extra 50% damage to enemies that are confused or asleep for 3 {{MP}}. Requires the 'Knifing Know-How' in a character's inventory to use [['Knifing Know-How']], which is received as a reward for completing [[Template:DQIXQuest/68|Quest #68]]: Spice Up Your Knife. ==={{DQ10}}=== Persecutter can be learned by [[Thief|Thieves]], [[Minstrel]]s, [[Dancer]]s, [[Gadabout]]s, [[Demon Swordsman|Demon Swordsmen]], and [[Pirate]]s by allocating 35 skill points into the Knives skill. It costs 3 MP to use and deals 400% damage to sleeping and confused {{MFamilies}}s. All other targets will take 150% damage instead. When used, the skill creates three glowing blue tendrils that form around the knife that strike the enemy. ==={{DQ11}}=== [[Erik]] and [[Sylvando]] can learn Persecutter through the ''Knives'' skill tree on their character builders by unlocking its panel for 9 and 13 skill points respectively. It costs 5 {{MP}}, and will deal 620% damage against a sleeping or confused monster, but removes its respective status ailment(s). Other targets will take 110% damage instead. Persecutter uses the same animation from {{DQ10}}. ==={{DQM23D}}=== {{Stub}} ==={{DQM3}}=== Persecutter costs 4 {{MP}} and deals 150% damage to enemies that are that are suffering altered states of mind, with mentally fit foes taking only 80% damage. It is learned through the [[Cutpurse]], [[Enigma]], [[Super Naturalist]], and [[Wild Child]] talents. ==={{DQWalk}}=== Persecutter can be learned by any character equipped with the [[falcon knife earrings]] at weapon Level 20 and it costs 11 {{MP}} to use.
