A beautiful suit of armour forged from curved plates of platinum, with ornate gold sections on the breastplate, shoulders, waist, and tassets. It is designed to help protect the wearer from attack spells and in some games, gives a boost to the wearer's style or charm.
*The design from ''Dragon Quest IX'' is based instead on the [[silver mail]] since it serves as the fully-upgraded form of it. The breastplate, pauldrons, and tasset are made from highly-polished platinum with gold details.
