The princess serves very little in moving the story along, but she does give Kiefer encouragement (with a girlish lisp) every time the party talks to her with Kiefer present. 

When Kiefer decides to stay with the Dejans, Lisette is depressed. 

When [[Aishe]] arrives at the castle, Lisette feels that she knows her somehow.
