The '''Revaulting horse''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{Dragon Quest V}}. It is an equine monster that walks about on its hind feet and is able to use magic. Its name is a play on the word "revolting" and a [[Wikipedia:Vault (gymnastics)|vaulting horse]].

==Characteristics==
Revaulting horses are anthropomorphic [[Beast family|horse]]s with muscular bodies and brown scaly hides. Its shaggy mane and tail are mossy green. Its combat abilities are unremarkable, as it is only capable of casting [[Midheal]] and will flee from battle if the opponent is strong. However, the revaulting horse can become a monster companion and it is capable of learning a wider range of magic for supporting its allies. They have only reappeared in spinoff games in the series.
