'''Riverton''' is a town found in {{Dragon Quest IV}}.

The aptly-named town sprang up on opposite banks of a river, with an island right in the middle. It is one of the few locations in the remake to [[List of Name Changes in the Zenithia Trilogy|keep the name]] used in the original localization.

Riverton needs to be traversed once to arrive at the statue dungeon known as the [[Colossus]].

It is also the home of a mechanic in need of a [[gas canister]] to make a perfectly functional [[balloon]].  Upon receiving one from the {{Hero 4}}, who must retrieve it from [[Estark's Crypt]], he manages to create the balloon and gives it to the {{Hero 4}} and his {{Party 4}}.
