The sallet can be purchased in the [[Sea Dragon (sailing vessel)|Sea Dragon]]'s armor shop. It may be worn by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VII)|Hero]], [[Ruff]], and [[Aishe]], and will increase defence and style by +40 and +26 respectively along with dropping the chance of being fizzled or confused to 25%. Ruff does not enjoy a wide selection of heavy-duty helmets for much of the game and it is advised to give him the sallet.

The seacow sallet grants +48 defence, and reduces the chance of being [[Fizzle|fizzled]] by 80%, and also reduces the chance of being [[Confusion|confused]] by 80%. It may be worn by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VII)|Hero]], [[Ruff]], and [[Aishe]]. The sallet can be purchased in the [[Sea Dragon (sailing vessel)|Sea Dragon]]'s armor shop. It can also be obtained as a prize in the present-day Lucky Panel minigame in [[Pilgrim's Rest]]. It's purchase price is 8700 gold coins, and it's sale price is 4350 coins.
