The '''Seaslime''' is a monster in the series.

==Characteristics==
Seaslimes are blue [[Slime family|slimes]] that carry around a spiked seashell for protection and are typically encountered on coastal regions and at sea. Though not as common as their land-faring cousins, the seaslimes are infamous for boasting high defence and elemental resistances, as well as turning tail when battles look bleak. They also have a tendency to retreat into their shells to protect themselves. In the [[Nintendo DS]] remake of {{Dragon Quest VI}}, a seaslime named [[Shelley]] can join the {{Hero 6}} and {{Party 6}} as a slime buddy.
