The '''Silver Key''' is an item that originated in {{DQ2}}.

Similar to the [[Magic Key]] from the first {{Dragon Quest}}, the Silver Key can open up doors that cannot normally be opened. However, the Silver Key has unlimited uses unlike the Magic Key.

The Silver Key is in the [[Lake Cave]] which is west of [[Cannock]] Castle. It opens metal doors. The Silver key is not needed to complete the game, but it is worth obtaining as it can open new areas not accessible without it.
