The '''Slick slime''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{Dragon Quest XI}}. It is a particularly viscous member of the [[Slime family]] that possesses a certain unappealing feeling to the touch.

==Characteristics==
Slick slimes, like their more common green cousins, are fluid puddles of reddish-black oil that are perpetually bubbling, with some of the bubbles hanging in place in midair. They are at home in incredibly hot areas such as volcanoes. In battle, they can splash opponents with the viscous oil their bodies are composed of in order to make them more vulnerable to flames from other monsters such as [[Evangelizard]]s and [[Lava lampling]]s. They are also able to call for help from lava lamplings and can perform a powerful fire technique by combining their abilities.
