Spectralite can be purchased from the shop at [[Trial Isle]] for 10,000 gold each or from the [[casino]] at [[Puerto Valor]] for 200,000 tokens during the postgame. After turning in 110 [[Mini medal]]s to Maxime Médaillé at [[L'Académie de Notre Maitre des Médailles]], spectralite can be received by exchanging three mini medals each. It can also be dropped by [[Mothertoad]]s, [[Franticore]]s, [[Crushtacean]]s, [[Labradrake]]s, [[Noble dragon]]s, and [[A3G15]]s, along with Vicious [[bobonga]]s and Vicious [[king crab]]s. It can be picked up from a singular sparkly spot in [[the Fierce Forest]]. One spectralite can be received from [[Derk]] after rescuing him from the Malicious [[Hades condor]] at [[Cobblestone Tor]] in the postgame. Spectralite can also be received from [[Krystalinda]] by transforming a [[Serpent's soul]] at [[Sniflheim Castle]]'s throne room in the postgame. It can be sold for 2,500 gold.

==Trivia==
* In the original Japanese version, spectralite is named after [[Wikipedia:Chrysoberyl#Alexandrite|alexandrite]], a variety of the gemstone chrysoberyl that displays different colours depending on the ambient lighting. It was first discovered in the Ural Mountains of Russia in the 19th century and named after grand duke Alexander Nikolaevich, who would go on to become Emperor Alexander II. Alexandrite is one of the gemstones for the month of June.
