The spell Swoosh is a Wind spell that attacks an enemy group with a ferocious tornado. It is stronger than Woosh but weaker than Kaswoosh and Kaswooshle. ==Appearances== ===DQ3=== Priests and Sages learn this spell at level 26. Swoosh costs 4 MP and deals 25~55 damage to one group of enemies. Swoosh will deal 14~34 damage to the party when cast by monsters. ===DQ3HD=== Priests and Sages will learn Swoosh at level 18 if their wisdom exceeds 62 points. It costs 6 MP and deals 41~71 damage to one group of enemies. As with all multi-targeting attack spells Swoosh's power is increased if it is used against a smaller number of foes, being 130% damage against a single monster, 120% against two monsters, and 110% damage when used on three monsters. The monster version of the spell deals 26~46 damage to the party. ===DQ4=== Swoosh is learned by Meena at level 23 and it has the same parameters as in the original version of III. The enemies MFamilies abracadabrador, whirly girly, cheeky tiki, and (in the remakes) draguar and gnucifer use this spell against the Party 4 for 14~34 damage. ===DQ5=== {| cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" border="1" !style="background:#77479B; color: white;"|Name !style="background:#77479B; color: white;"|Level |- |Moosifer R||-- |- |Old man of the sea R||-- |- |Mandrake marshal R||7 |- |Hawk man R||8 |- |Rotten apple R||15 |- |Hero 5||16 |- |Conkuistador R||20 |- |Magic marionette R||25 |} ===DQ6=== Swoosh is learned by Nevan at level 15. Other characters can learn it by advancing to rank 6 of the Priest vocation. The enemies hermit pixie, gustbluster, low djinks, and war gryphon use this spell against the Party 6 for 14~34 damage. ===DQ7=== Sir Mervyn already knows Swoosh when he joins the Party 7. Once again, it can be learned by advancing to rank 6 as a Priest. It can also be learned by advancing to rank 7 as a Sailor or rank 4 as a Draguar. It can also be cast by using the Staff of divine wrath or Air Amulet as a tool in battle. In the Nintendo 3DS version, it can be learned by advancing to rank 6 as an Armamentalist. It can be cast by the enemies MFamilies Stripes, Hans, frighturn, demon deacon, beastly priest, rockin' rockhopper, sky fry, pink panzer, draguar, metal king slime, and gnucifer for 14~34 damage to the party. ===DQ8=== Swoosh is learned by Angelo at level 18. It hits one group of enemies for 20~44 base damage, and will begin to reach its cap of 52~76 once Angelo's Wisdom surpasses 180. The enemies witch, hawk man, lump wizard, and head of state cast Swoosh to deal 12~27 damage to the party. The Infamous Monster Hazel (Recruit) can cast it. ===DQ9=== Learned by Minstrels at level 16 and Luminaries at level 36. Slices a group of enemies with a powerful whirlwind that costs 8 MP to conjure. The spell will deal 25~55 base damage, and will start to reach it's cap of 123~153 once the caster's magical might surpasses 100. When cast by monsters, Swoosh will deal 14~43 damage to the party. ===DQ10=== Minstrels and Luminaries learn Swoosh at level 36 and 34, respectively, while Pirates know the spell by default at level 50. It costs 8 MP to cast. Damage calculation is Magical Might x 0.3 + 18.5, leading to a base range of 26~46 and a maximum range of 62~82. The spell will encircle the caster when used, hitting close enemies multiple times. ===DQ11=== Serena 11 will learn Swoosh at level 28 and Sylvando at level 29. The spell costs 10 MP to cast and will deal 48~112 base damage, and 92~156 once either character's Magical Might reaches 158. ===DQM=== Called Infermore in this game, it is an upgraded form of Infernos. Infernos grows into Infermore when the MFamilies reaches level 11 with 38 MP and 56 Intelligence. Infermore grows into Infermost when the MFamilies reaches level 27 with 104 MP and 134 Intelligence. ===DQM2=== Infermore now requires 101 Intelligence to learn and 242 Intelligence to upgrade. ===DQMJ=== Swoosh costs 5 MP, will deal up to 126~150, and can be learned from: *Bang & Woosh (13 points) *Bang & Woosh II (4 points) *Bird Brain (28 points) *Frizz & Woosh (24 points) *Frizz & Woosh II (18 points) *Mage (5 points) *Wind Blower (47 points) *Woosh & Crack (16 points) *Woosh & Crack II (5 points) *Woosh & Zam (17 points) *Woosh & Zam II (4 points) *Woosh & Zap (16 points) *Woosh & Zap II (4 points) ===DQMJ2=== Swoosh deals 30~33 damage at minimum and 141~144 at maximum. It can no longer be learned from Bird Brain. It can now be learned from: *Woosh & Sizz (16 points) *Woosh & Sizz II (5 points) ===Terry's Wonderland 3D & Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key=== Swoosh costs 11 MP and deals 38~42 damage. Once the user's Wisdom exceeds 100 points, it will grow in power until it hits 142~157 at 699 Wisdom. ===DQMJ3=== Swoosh's MP cost and performance are the same as in the Game Boy Color remakes. ===DQM3=== Swoosh costs 11 MP and is learned via the Blowy Slasher, Storm Chaser, Swirling Dervish, Woosh Afficionado, and Woosh Virtuoso talents. It has a base power of 40 and will deal an average of 150 once the monster's wisdom reaches 699. ===DQH=== Swoosh is the second tier spell of Isla and can be learned by investing 8 skill points. By charging her Woosh spell for a short time, she can cast Swoosh, which creates two whirlwinds in front of her for 14 MP. The whirlwinds last for five seconds, allowing Isla to rack up lots of hits and damage in conjunction with her other attacks. As she levels up more, she will be able to upgrade the spell and learn Kaswoosh. ===DQH2=== Swoosh also appears as the second tier spell of Meena Mahabala and it now costs 10 MP to cast. ===DQTact=== Swoosh is known naturally by Draguar and Wight king at level 1, and can be learned by Lips and Magic marionette at level 16, Pickled slime at level 22, Great dracky and Wight priest at level 24, Missing lynx and Raving lunatick at level 26, Devilmoth at level 28, and Bone baron at level 46. It costs 24 MP to cast, has a range of three squares in front of the caster, and inflicts moderate Woosh-type spell damage to all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally. It can also be taught to any unit by using an ability scroll, which is received as a reward for completing Chapter 12, Episode 5: A Misunderstanding of the main storyline, as well as the seventh stage of both the Armful and Low djink's Battle Roads, or purchased for 1,500 medals in the limited "Dragon Fest" event shop. ===Super Smash Bros. Ultimate=== Swoosh appears as the Hero Smash's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, being the semi-charged version of Woosh that costs 9 MP. It is a whirlwind that sends the Hero Smash up into the air, with the whirlwind and distance being larger than Woosh's. Nearby opponents will also be sent into the air the same distance, with the tornado consisting of four smaller hitboxes that deal 3% each. Holding the special button down will turn the move into Kaswoosh. ==In Other Languages== ==Battle Visuals==
Clear

==Gallery==
<gallery> DQR Bagima.png|Rivals card.
