Tap Dance is a name for two distinct abilities in the Dragon Quest series. In most titles it is the skill equivalent of Drain Magic, where as in games developed by Level-5 it is a Minstrel skill unrelated to magic. ==Appearances== ===DQ6=== Tap Dance absorbs MP from the enemy, and is learned by advancing to rank 7 of the Dancer vocation. The amount of MP absorbed is dependant on the user's level, and calculated as Lvl/4 + 5. ===DQ7=== Tap Dance is learned by Aishe, and Amateurs (rank 5 of the Dancer vocation). The skill is also learned by Wigglys (rank 2 of the Slime vocation). The absorption algorithm is the same as before. In the 3DS version the skill has been nerfed to only drain 5~12 MP. regardless of level. It can be used by the enemies magic marionettes and flamencolumns. ===DQ9=== This ability is learned with 55 skill points allocated into Litheness skill. It increases evasion by 50% for 6~9 turns. ===DQMJ=== Tap Dance can be learned from * Dancer (32 points) * Dark Knight (17 points) * Green Finger (100 points) * Mime (4 points) ===DQMJ2=== Tap Dance can be learned from all the skills it could be previously, though Green Finger now requires only 84 points. ===DQM3D=== Stub ===DQM23D=== Stub ===DQMJ3=== Stub ===DQM3=== Tap Dance costs zero MP and drains (Level x 2) + 5~10 MP from one enemy, with the upper limit being 250. Tap Dance is learned through the Dancer, Enigma, Party Monster, and Pop Diva talents. DQSkills
