Terrestria is the world in which the story of DQ4 takes place and is the world of humans and monsters, separated from the lofty Zenithia and the infernal Nadiria. The term was invented for DQM3, as the planet was nameless in all versions of the original story. ==Appearances== ===DQ4=== Terrestria is divided into four continents ruled over by a central kingdom, with the nature of the game's chapter set-up placing individual focus on each one before the final chapter gives way to a globe-spanning adventure. Beyond the four central landmasses are unaligned islands. ====Endor==== Endor is the central continent of the game's world and the most important, being the being the homeland of many of the Chosen Ones. The continent is home to five kingdoms: Endor, of which it is named, Ballymoral to the northwest, Burland to the far north beyond the mountain chain that divides the continent, Casabranca in the eastern plains, and isolated Femiscyra in the distant east. Endor is where the game begins via the Prologue, and is the final destination of Chapter 2 as well as the entirety of Chapter 3. Thanks to Torneko's efforts, a war between the kingdoms of Ballymoral and Endor is avoided thanks to the wedding of Prince Regan and Princess Veronica. The merchant is also able to connect the two lower halves on the continent by financing the construction of the Trans-Montane Tunnel to Casabranca. Of note is that the King of Casabranca is one of the few individuals to know of the Lord of the Underworld's impending resurrection, and has dispatched a party of mercenaries in an effort to stop the threat. *Burland *Strathbaile *Strathbaile Burrow *Loch Tur *Endor *Endor Colosseum *Lakanaba *Cave of Safekeeping *Shinnock *Ballymoral *Trans-Montane Tunnel *Hidden Valley *Woodcutter's Cabin *Casabranca *The Cistern Chapel *Con Cave *Last Chance Saloon *Bath *Porthrunnel *Pharos Beacon ====Libeccio==== Libeccio is the west-most southern continent, below Endor and Maestral. It is the setting of Chapter 4, being the home of Maya and Meena Mahabala. Prior to the game's prologue, the sisters' alchemist father rediscovered the Secret of Evolution and was murdered by his apprentice Balzack. The siblings set out for revenge and stumble into a plot much larger than the killing of their beloved father: Balzack has presented the Secret of Evolution to the Prince of the convenient, who was driven mad by the transmutative properties and imprisoned his own father in the dungeon of Palais de Léon. Driven insane, the Prince mandates that his citizens speak with a French accent. Beyond this, Libeccio is infamous for the squalid Mamon Mine and the untold horrors that lurk within. *Laissez Fayre *Aubout du Monde *Gupta Gupha *House of Prophecy *Palais de Léon *Mamon Mine *Havre Léon ====Maestral==== Maestral is ruled by the royal family of Zamoksva. It is where the majority of the second chapter takes place, detailing the march of the capricious Tsarevna Alena. *Zamoksva *Zalenagrad *Taborov *Vrenor *Vault of Vrenor *Desert Bazaar *Pioneer Town *Birdsong Tower ====Siroc==== Siroc is the lest-populated continent, possessing only a single, agriculturally-focused kingdom and two villages. Of note is that Siroc is the home to the only colony of elves in the world: El Forado, hidden away from humans beyond a circular mountain chain and imposing desert. *Parthenia *Mintos *Imperial Pantry of Parthenia *El Forado ====Isolated lands==== Several areas crucial to the game's narrative exist on islands, archipelagos, and otherwise isolated areas detached from the four main continents. *Canalot *Diabolic Hall *Dunplundrin *Minikin's Dominion *Riverton *Rosehill *The Azimuth ===DQM3=== Being a spin-off of Dragon Quest IV, Psaro C travels through several of the key locations in the seventh Monsters game. There is no traditional overworld in this title, due to the majority of the game taking place in the isolated echelons of Nadiria, so teleportals are required for travel. The Terrestrial domains are: *Rosehill *Champion Cascade *Gradely Grasslands *Endor Colosseum *Diabolic Hall *The Whispwoods DQIVNav DQM3Nav
