It is a large, blue [[Dragon family|pterosaur]] {{MFamilies}}.

==Characteristics==
Terrodactyls are large winged pterosaurs capable of flight. They are usually portrayed as a pale blue or teal with tan bellies. The Terrordactyls often attack seafaring adventurers with the help of other flying {{MFamilies}}s like [[Gargoyle]]s by swooping down with their deadly talons, having the ability to attack twice per turn. They are also capable of calling for more of their own kind to assist in their assaults.

Terrordactyls make various appearances throughout the series. In the manga and the original 1991 anime, there is a terrordactyl living on Dermline Island along with [[Dai]] and other friendly {{MFamilies}}s. It helps [[Dai]] defeat the evil scorpion released on the island by the treacherous sage [[Varon]].

A pterodactyl strongly resembling it appears in [[Akira Toriyama]]'s ''[[Dragon Ball]]'' manga, where it kidnaps Bulma to eat her, but Goku saves the day and kills it.
