The '''Terrorflyer''' is a recurring {{MFamilies}} in the {{DQSeries}}.

Introduced in {{Dragon Quest IV}}, it is a winged, gray dragon that combines traits of a bat and a tyrannosaurus.

==Characteristics==
Terrorflyers are reminiscent of pterosaurs, having long crests and the absence of forelimbs, but are made more dragon-like through their bulkier bodies and large jaws. They were a yellowish orange colour in their original official artwork, though they were gray in their first pixel appearance, which has been making a comeback as the official colouration in modern titles.
